Blink-182 are said to release new music in April, according to Mark Hoppus when he replied to a fan via Twitter.
Details are still a bit opaque but I think it's safe to assume it's the deluxe version of "California", but nothing is set in stone. I know whatever they guys decide to release it'll be fantastic and with it being just two months away, there isn't long to go.
In other sort of unrelated Blink-182 news, former guitarist and vocalist Tom Delonge is pumped to direct a sci-fi film called "Strange Times" and his current band Angels and Airwaves will be rocking out on the soundtrack.
"[The film] centers on a rebellious group of San Diego skateboarders, who take it upon themselves to investigate extreme paranormal activity around town, only to embark on an adventure that they could have never imagined.
It is based on DeLonge's Strange Times franchise, which includes fringe website, a graphic novel and sci-fi YA trilogy that DeLonge is co-writting with author Geoff Herbach, with Simon & Schuster having released the first book, Strange Times: The Ghost in the Girl, last October."
When questioned about the film and his go-to hobby of skating, he replied: "In Southern California as a disaffected young skateboarder who broke the occasional law or five, I was obsessively looking for the more unusual and imaginative experiences that life has to offer."
