Dido is putting finishing touches on her next album, "Girl Who Got Away", which will be the follow up to 2008's "Safe Trip Home". She's been frequently updating her Facebook page over the past few months revealing little bits and pieces about the new music. That's pretty exciting!
The British singer/songwriter began on the new tracks way back in 2009 using an "electric approach" to go about changing her sound, and even enlisted several producers including: Rollo Armstrong, Sister Bliss of Faithless, Greg Kurstin, Lester Mendez ( who has worked with Shakira, Nelly Furtado), A. R. Rahman, Rick Nowels and Jeff Bhasker to help shape the new record.
While there's no official release date, it's possible the new album may be out sometime in early 2013.
