Coldplay will release their new song "Atlas" on August 26th when they are featured on the soundtrack for "Catching Fire" - the sequel to "The Hunger Games" and are the first contributing artist to be officially announced so far!
Director for the film Francis Lawrence couldn't be more ecstatic for teaming up as he is a big fan of the Brit band. The first installment of "The Hunger Games" became the highest-grossing North American release of all time coming in at number 13 with almost $700 million at the box office worldwide.
"Catching Fire" will hit theaters this fall on November 22nd, 2013.
