AFI Announce New Album "Burials"

AFI

After teasing fans with a sneak peek at the initial single "I Hope You Suffer" AFI can now confirm October 22nd as the official release date for their forthcoming album "Burials". Produced by Gil Norton, this will be the first record AFI puts on out a new label, Republic Records.

The band's front-man, Davey Havok, speaks about what inspired their new music and what the meaning behind the album name. “This record is of silence, of burials, and the burials that result from that silence. It’s of betrayal, cruelty, weakness, anxiety, panic — deep and slow — despair, injury and loss. And in this it is shamefully honest and resolutely unforgiving.”

As a treat for fans the band will be showing off their latest creation while on the road ahead of the "Burials" release kicking off September 12th in Minneapolis and concluding November 2nd in Vancouver, British Columbia.
