Rock band 3 Doors Down confirmed a 28-city summer tour beginning May 30th in Detroit, Mich. at the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and concluding August 22nd in Kettering, OH at the Fraze Pavilion.

Among these dates will also be a few scattered festival gigs, which will then hook onto a co-headlining tour with Seether to launch in Laredo, Texas and continue until the end of July. The band will keep rocking throughout August to either help support Collective Soul or Theory of a Deadman at some point.

Additionally, these Mississippi natives are in the midst of recording another smash album and according to a press release they're working with producer Matt Wallace. Lead vocalist Brad Arnold has also expressed his enthusiasm for their next batch of songs.

“We’re excited to be heading in to the studio with Matt to make a new 3 Doors Down record! We can’t wait to get some of these new songs we’ve been playing live put to tape. This is shaping up to be our best album yet!”
